2009 July 4th Celebration

The Chinese United Association of Greater Phoenix is hosting it's annual July 4 celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2009.  This celebration is comprised of two events.

The first event is an indoor picnic.  To beat the heat, Chinese United has moved the traditional picnic indoors to First Chinese Baptist Church in Phoenix.  There will be good food and fun activities the entire family can enjoy. Cost is $5 which includes a meal ticket and game ticket.

The second event is an evening of pageantry.  The Chinese United Association of Greater Phoenix is hosting the
2009 Miss Phoenix Chinese Pageant

Congratulations Chinese Summer Camp
June 22 - 26, 2009


Phoenix Chinese Week was happy to partner with the Phoenix Sister Cities Taipei Committee to present the 2009 Taipei Chinese Culture Summer Camp.

This year was the 13th annual summer camp for the award winning Taipei Chinese Culture Summer Camp. The camp is the 2008 recipient of Phoenix Mayor’s Partnership Award.

This summer the camp was held at Longview Elementary School.
